Job Description :
Field Engineer – Facades Division

Royal Concrete and Masonry Corp – New York City, NY

Division: Facades & Technical Services

About Us

Royal Concrete and Masonry Corp is one of New York City's fastest-growing building envelope restoration companies. Known for our innovative approach and uncompromising standards, we use cutting-edge technology and advanced restoration methods to deliver unmatched results.

We're looking for a driven, detail-obsessed individual to join our Facades Division, working directly under the Director of Facades on some of the city's most challenging and high-profile exterior projects.

Role Overview

This is not a typical 9-to-5 desk job – it's an opportunity for someone who thrives in the field, isn't afraid of heights, and wants to be in the middle of the action. As Field Engineer, you'll be the Director's right hand for inspections, quality control, and technical documentation. You'll be on-site daily—climbing scaffolds, taking precise measurements, coordinating with inspectors, and making sure every detail is correct before the project moves forward.

If you're hungry to learn, ready to push yourself, and want to be part of a company where your work is visible, valued, and vital to success—this is your role.

You'll Be Doing

  • Daily Field Inspections – Review progress with Foremen, inspect work from suspended scaffolds, pipe scaffolds, and scissor lifts, and document everything with photos and short reports.
  • Inspector Coordination – Work side-by-side with city and third-party inspectors for initial, progress, and final inspections.
  • QA/QC Excellence – Conduct internal final quality checks with Foremen, ensuring every task is done right the first time.
  • Documentation Mastery – Consolidate elevation photos, prepare As-Builts, and record quantities of completed work.
  • Technical Submittals – Prepare shop drawings and Product Data Sheets with AutoCAD and Bluebeam in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Progress Tracking – Report on work completed to date, creating internal reference documents for architects and engineers.

What We're Looking For

We're after a superstar—someone who:

  • Holds a 4-Hour and 16-Hour Scaffold User Card (or is ready to get them—company will pay for training).
  • Is proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Understands scaffold safety, field inspection processes, and construction documentation.
  • Can communicate clearly with crews, PMs, architects, and inspectors.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to work at heights.
  • Takes pride in delivering clean, accurate, and actionable reports.
  • Why Royal Concrete and Masonry?

    • Fast-Growing Company – Be part of a firm quickly becoming a major force in NYC restoration.
    • Direct Mentorship – Work under the Director of Facades and learn from one of the best in the industry.
    • Skill Investment – We'll pay for your scaffold training and other relevant certifications.
    • Career Growth – We promote from within—prove yourself here, and the sky's the limit.
    • Impact – Your work will directly affect the quality, safety, and reputation of our projects.

Salary: We're looking for the right fit—exceptional talent will be rewarded accordingly.
