Job Brief:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. In this role, you will assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project operations, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in all phases of project development and execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers to ensure timely delivery of materials and work.
- Assist in preparing project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Monitor job site safety, quality control, and compliance with contract documents.
- Help track project costs, forecast potential issues, and support billing and invoicing.
- Attend and participate in client and team meetings, taking notes and following up on action items.
- Identify and help resolve project issues to keep work on track.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination or management.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities.
