Position Title: Assistant Program ManagerPosition Location: 4 Irving Place, New York, NY 10003Remote, Hybrid, In Office: Hybrid preferred and prioritized, open to remoteDays of the week: Monday FridayWorking Hours:40 hrs, 9-5#CBOT?: NoTravel?: NoIntended length of assignment: 6 months, plan to extend 3 total terms before considering FTEReason for open position: Additional business needRate Details: ***/hrPotential for Contract Extension or FTE: Contract, potential for conversion after 3 - six month terms.Industry Background: engineering, environmental science or policy, business, operations managementTeam Dynamic: four team membersRoles and responsibilities 'The Assistant Program Manager(Managed Charging Program) is responsible for supporting the design, operations, administration, budget, marketing, performance analysis, reporting, process improvement, and customer and stakeholder engagement. The Assistant Program Manager is also responsible for supporting overall implementation and performance of the program to achieve targeted growth of the program for the Company. The Assistant Program Manager may support the program's processes, functions, internal program team, and contractor responsible for the implementation of the program.Must have technical or professional skills:Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentDemonstrated flexibility to handle multiple assignments and deadlines.Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, and the ability to see the big picture as well as attention to detailStrong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and writing skillsFlex skills/nice to haves:Demonstrated success in management/support of clean energy programsExperience with or knowledge of electric vehicle technologies, managed charging, or demand response.Demonstrated experience analyzing information, both technical and financial, and making recommendations based on that information.Public speaking experience and technical writing skillsExperience working with local, County, City and State governmentsKnowledge of implementation and maintenance of information technology projectsExperience working with Department of Public Service staff and the preparation of regulatory filingsEducation or certification requirements: Sustainability, business, engineering, operations, or similarInterview Process: There will be a 2 step interview process - 1st step, screening with HM, then 2nd step technical/behavioral interview with HM and Program Manager.
