Position Summary: The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Memphis invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the area of Combinatorics and Graph Theory. Duties include carrying out a research program in an area of Combinatorics or Graph Theory, teaching a broad range of classes, and service-related activities for the department. The successful candidate will typically teach two courses per semester. Candidates should have a PhD in Mathematics, with a proven record of collaborative and independent research backed up by quality publications, have strong communication skills, and will be expected to seek external funding.
