Job Description :

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the College of Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor (TCL).

Duties and responsibilities will include:

* The Attending Physician will provide the provision of services in the Ambulatory Care Service, the Labor and Delivery Suite and in the Operating Room three days a week.

* Additionally, on a scheduled on-call basis, the Attending Physician will provide 2-16 hours and 1-24 hours weekend sessions on a monthly basis in the Labor and Delivery Suite to properly supervise the Residents. The Attending Physicians will also be required to provide the required scheduled back-up calls on a monthly basis.

Required Qualifications:

* Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a New York State Licensure to practice medicine.
