This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: ![](rr**Assistant Professor, Operations and Supply Chain Management**rrKansas State Universityrr****About This Role****The Department of Management in the College of Business Administration(CBA) at Kansas State University is seeking applicants for atenure-track, full-time Assistant Professor position in the Operationsand Supply Chain Management (OSCM) area.The candidate will be responsible for research, teaching, and serviceactivities in the CBA.Research: Consistent with departmental guidelines, the candidate will beexpected to publish in high-quality academic journals in the OSCM areaand develop a strong research record.Teaching: Desired area of teaching experience or interest should includesupply chain management with an emphasis on supply chain analytics,sustainability and/or risk management.   • The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in OSCM or a closely-related area
from an AACSB accredited university. ABDs will also be consideredbut must be in a position to complete their Ph.D. within 6 months oftheir employment date at Kansas State University.
  • Ability to publish in high-quality journals in the OSCM area and
develop a strong research track-record.Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong research record as demonstrated through publications in top
academic journals and presentations at national academicconferences.
  • Prior university teaching experience in OSCM.
  • Ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain
Analytics, Sustainability, or Risk Management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Related professional work experience.
  • Commitment to understanding the perspectives of others both in the
