Job Location : Akron,OH, USA
The University of Akron's Allied Health Department seeks faculty to teach clinical related courses, including but not limited to Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Pathology and Pharmacology.
Professional licensure or certification in a clinical discipline is strongly preferred; two or more years of teaching experience in an online environment; experience in instructional design and assessment of teaching and learning; experience teaching in courses that satisfy general education requirements.
Masters degree or higher in a clinical (i.e., M.D., D.O., D.C., MSCLS, etc.) field and/or biomedical sciences; experience teaching students in the pre-professional or professional health sciences; demonstrated ability to integrate and synthesize basic sciences and clinical concepts across disciplines; experience teaching students pursuing a wide range of health professions majors; experience teaching in a laboratory setting. And other duties as assigned.
