Assistant Professor of Art - Delta State University : Job Details

DSUs School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences invites applications for Assistant Professor of Art to start in August 2025. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses in Art with a focus on general education art courses (Art Appreciation, Introduction to Art) , courses in graphic design, computer graphics, and digital art. Position responsibilities also include advising and mentoring students and working with colleagues to enhance curriculum. The successful applicant will fulfill scholarship obligations; provide service to the school, college, university, and profession; actively engage with committee work at the school, college, and university levels; and exhibit collegiality across all facets of participation in university culture. Qualifications MFA in studio art is required. Strong candidates will have university teaching experience with experience in foundation level courses and digital fields, most notably graphic design.
