Assistant Professor - American University - Washington, D.C : Job Details

Description

Teach courses, conduct research, and provide services to the university's Early Childhood Education program. Publish academic and policy-relevant research on multicultural education and critical pedagogy within early childhood education, employing critical education ethnography. Develop collaborative partnerships between our Teacher Education program and local school professionals. Advise undergraduate and graduate students on their learning outcomes and career pathways. This is a tenure-track position.

Qualifications: Required completion of all Ph.D. requirements, including dissertation defense and scholarly publications, in Early Childhood Education or related fields.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $350,000
