• Basic Salary: RM6,210.00 to RM14,370.00 (depends on experience)

2. Scope

The officer shall perform teaching, examining, research duties, and other obligations typical of an academic staff member. Responsibilities include moral and religious obligations, attending meetings, participating in community life, and advising students on character, behavior, and moral conduct.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars.
• Supervising teaching practicum and postgraduate students.
• Developing curricula and course materials.
• Collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching methods.
• Setting and grading assessments.
• Conducting research and publishing scholarly work.
• Participating in meetings, conferences, and training.
• Supporting students and colleagues.

4. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant field; or Bachelor's + Diploma in Education.
• Master's Degree and PhD in Education related to Curriculum and Instruction.
• Previous teaching experience; published work is advantageous.

5. Minimum Competencies

• Ability to inspire students.
• Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work long hours.
• Strong communication skills.

6. Language Qualifications

Candidates must have:

• Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English at SPM level or equivalent.
• IELTS Band 7 / MUET Band 4; or sit for the IIUM English Language Proficiency Test.
