Position Summary

LSU Health Sciences Center, Human Development Center seeks to hire an Assistant Professor (clinical track) to serve as Director of Interdisciplinary Training. The incumbent will initially co-Direct the Louisiana Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) and become the Director of the LEND grant upon the retirement of the current HDC director. The successful candidate must use the LEND grant to raise awareness, enhance services for children, youth, and families with neurodiversity, and seek extramural funding through the office of Sponsored Projects to support their salary and staff.

Additional Position Information Minimum Qualifications

• Required Education: Master's degree; 30 hours specialist degree or Doctoral degree (preferred) in special education or related field
• Certifications/Licenses Required: Not specified
• Experience Required: At least 3 years of professional experience in teaching, designing, and implementing educator and/or family training and coaching; documented expertise in neurodiversity and leadership education
