Job Summary:

The Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at SUNY Downstate's School of Public Health seeks a full-time Assistant Professor (12MO). The candidate will:

Required Qualifications:

• Experience teaching Data Science, program development, and managing biostatistical support.
• Skills in data visualization, spatial analysis, hierarchical and longitudinal data, complex survey data, mixed methods, quasi-experimental designs, causal inference (propensity score, SEM), non-parametric and semi-parametric methods, statistical learning, and big data analytics (omics, imaging, bioinformatics, EHR).
• Desirable: Expertise in machine learning and AI for public health research.
• Proven research record with extramural funding and publications in high-quality journals.
