Responsibilities The Assistant, Packaging Production, assists in managing projects from concept to distribution, collaborating with Merchandising, Design, and Licensing to ensure alignment and meet production goals.
  • Building communication & relations within departments (Creative, PD, Merchants, Marketing and Licensing)
  • Overseeing Proper Style Guides/Packaging execution for new programs that are pulled together
  • Ensure proper style guides are uploaded to correct factories/vendors FTPs on schedule
  • Liaison between company and factories regarding all packaging inquiries
  • Work alongside creative & merchants approving quality & mock packaging
  • Send sample packets (paper stock samples and color proofs) to vendors for quality reference
  • Communicate production stages and project statuses and advise on changes to timelines
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; and 1 - 3 years related experience and/or internship experience
  • Strong attention to detail fused with the ability to manage multiple, large projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline driven environment
  • Demonstrates strong process management skills with a consistent focus on improving quality and efficiency at both individual and team levels
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively, both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage daily priorities and workload
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Software knowledge: Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office. Adobe CS5 knowledge is a plus
The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position. Pay Range $45,000 - $55,000
