The role oversees production operations, including construction, installations, and materials management. A typical day includes collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance teams to determine pricing and production estimates, ensuring timely and quality service for clients. The Assistant Operations Manager also monitors compliance with safety and environmental regulations, manages inventory, oversees vehicle and equipment maintenance, and serves as a point of contact for emergencies. Additionally, this position involves vendor negotiations, employee development, budget management, and implementing new technologies and processes to improve operational efficiency.One of the unique aspects of this role is that it is a working supervisor/manager role where you'll need to fulfill any duties regarding the installation, maintenance, and production of the configurations of their advertising. Due to this expectation, you must be physically fit, able to lift and pull heavier materials from below you at heights roughly 60-100 feet in the air. Please don't move forward with this opportunity if you're not able to operate within the role's physical nature, including at heights. This role is particularly well suited for a military veteran because the skill sets align strongly with the demands of the position. You bring extensive leadership experience, the ability to manage complex logistics, and a deep commitment to safety protocols, all of which are critical for success in this role. The current hiring manager, an Army veteran, is specifically looking to hire another veteran who can be mentored and developed into greater roles and responsibilities across the national enterprise. The training veterns receive in planning, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making under pressure has uniquely prepared you to handle the multi-faceted nature of this position.
