ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER This position is responsible for actively supporting the Merchandising team with day-to-day logistical management of the product lines throughout the season What You'll Do
- Request and maintain sample coordination for sales meetings and preline presentations.
- Assist in showroom set-ups for wholesale account presentations.
- Create, maintain and distribute line sheets throughout each season.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, shop market and visit Clarks stores frequently.
- Assist merchants with daily maintenance of Assortment tools.
- Develop strong cross functional relationships and manage the provision of product information and communication materials to the wholesale sales team.
What You'll Bring
- A Bachelor's degree.
- 1 -2 years merchandising, retail sales, buying or internship experience preferred.
- Broad-based business acumen with the potential to grow to the Merchant level and beyond!
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills include VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and numerical formulation or have aptitude to learn these technical applications quickly.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Power Point & Adobe to be able to create decks and presentations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to multitask and work collaboratively.
- Excellent attention to detail, understanding importance of accuracy and thorough completion of tasks
- Ability to hit concurrent deadlines, manage and prioritize own workload
- Footwear /Apparel experience (preferred)
