Job Description :

Seeking an assistant store manager to join the team.

Play center that provides children with a fun and motivational environment to help them in the areas of strength, movement, sensory processing, communication, positive behavior modification, social interactions, and self-care skills. They provide Play With A Purpose. Play With A Purpose is exercising and stimulating any of the seven senses through positive physical, emotional, and social development. These senses include sight, smell, taste, hearing, touch, the vestibular system, and proprioception. Our specially designed, sensory-safe equipment and the classes that we offer all encourage these!

Position: Assistant Store Manager (FT/PT) Educational Playcare setting

Help manage all inclusive Kids Play Gym (retail store)

Schedule: Flexible hours between 9am-7pm Sun-Thu, 9am-2/3pm Fri. (Shomer Shabbat Store)

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the gym's welcoming atmosphere and ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.

Supervise and support floor attendant staff in their daily duties, including scheduling and task management.

Manage staff and program schedules, including assisting in staff meetings to ensure a cohesive and motivated team.

Support marketing efforts, both inside and outside the gym, to grow awareness and engagement.

Requirements:

Passion and enthusiasm for working with children of ALL abilities in an inclusive setting.

Highly organized.

Committed to customer service.

Previous experience working in store management, customer service, and/or with children (children with special needs is a major plus).

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and obtain CPR certification.

Preferences:

Bachelor's degree.

Education or Therapy related experience.
