About You

We're looking for an energetic, skilled, and organized Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead building maintenance across multiple facilities. Our environments support adults (18–59) diagnosed with chronic mental illness.

This leadership role requires technical expertise and people management skills to ensure safe, functional, and aesthetically maintained properties.

You Will Need

• Full Vaccination against COVID-19 – CA required
• High school diploma or GED – required
• Associate or Bachelor's degree – preferred
• Leadership experience in facility management – required
• Proficiency in plumbing, painting, and electrical work – required
• Ability to manage maintenance teams and coordinate schedules – required
• Experience overseeing multiple residential or clinical sites – preferred
• Experience working in behavioral health or residential care – preferred
• Additional certifications (CNA, CPR, ARF, etc.) – preferred
• Positive, proactive attitude – absolutely required

Your Responsibilities

As Maintenance Manager, you will lead efforts to maintain clean, safe, and well-functioning facilities across multiple sites. Responsibilities include:

• Manage and supervise maintenance staff across locations
• Coordinate facility upkeep, repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules
• Perform hands-on tasks including:
• Painting interior and exterior spaces
• Plumbing repairs and pipework
• Electrical troubleshooting and safety checks
• Oversee landscaping, furniture movement, and building systems (e.g., HVAC, washers/dryers)
• Maintain company vehicles and mechanical units
• Work with vendors, contractors, and service providers
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
• Keep accurate maintenance records and reporting logs

Pay and Benefits

• $66,500 – $74,000 based on experience, with potential for higher compensation
