Assistant Herdsman - ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL : Job Details

We are seeking an Assistant Herdsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cattle and be willing to assist in various tasks related to the care and maintenance of our livestock. This position offers the opportunity to work in a purebred operation and gain valuable experience in the industry. Requirements for Herdsman:- Preferably have some experience working with cattle- A. I. and heat check experience, cow/calf experience is a plus- Feedlot experience in grow yard, development yard, and additional feedlot experience is a plus- Willingness to handle routine maintenance and general repairs- Good decision-making skills and record-keeping abilities- Ability to assist with farming or feeding of cattle is a plus.
