Assistant Finance Director - St. Lucie County Clerk of the Circuit Court : Job Details

Under general direction from the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), prepares the County's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and directs the accomplishment of accounts receivable, grants and contracts, and payroll functions in the Finance Department. Performs highly responsible and complex duties in the preparation and maintenance of accounting records for the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Performs the duties of the CFO in their absence. Examples of Duties Prepares the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the County in conjunction with the Financial Reporting Specialist. Coordinates with the Financial Reporting Specialist in providing assistance to the external Auditors. Plans, organizes, assigns, schedules, coordinates, and reviews the work of Accounts Receivable, Grants and Contracts, and Payroll staff.
