Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong project coordination skills and a solid understanding of construction management principles. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with electrical project managers to implement project objectives.
  • Manage various aspects of electrical construction projects, assisting directly to ensure on-time completion.
  • Maintain clear communication with General Foreman and Project Managers to adhere to project schedules, delivery and effectiveness.
  • Support the procurement of electrical materials (along with our purchasing department) and other resources necessary for project objectives.
  • Facilitate coordination among general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Evaluate project execution and collect data on project performance.
  • Submit and track RFIs, change orders, warranty requests, permits, etc.

Requirements

  • PROFICIENCY IN COMPUTER-BASED SOFTWARE: BLUEBEAM/ACROBAT, MICROSOFT OFFICE 365, AND PROCORE.
  • PRIOR ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING OR RELATED FIELD EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction or electrical management.
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Keen attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addenda, specifications, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Understanding of standard project deliverables and work processes.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
