Assistant Director Online Teaching and Course Development - New Jersey Institute of Technology : Job Details

The position is principally responsible for the coordination and implementation of plans for delivering and evaluating a broad range Instructional Design services in support of the efficient and effective use of digital technologies in teaching and learning. The position coordinates the work of a team instructional designers providing best practice guidance for the use of technology in multiple course delivery modes; and works closely with faculty, program directors, program advisors, and both internal/external service partners in the on-going planning and delivery of digital programs and courses. As the day-to-day lead in support of Instructional Design services, the position is expected to exhibit a high level of creativity and resourcefulness, is competent to work on fairly complex digital learning initiatives with minimal supervision, and can coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
