The Assistant Director Sports Performance is responsible for assisting with the implementation of the strength and conditioning program for assigned varsity sports programs.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, and/or equivalent related experience required. 0-2 years of related experience.
Minimum Qualification:
Certified by a nationally recognized accredited strength and conditioning certification program: National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) or the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) strength and conditioning coach certified (SCCC).
Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators and alumni
Ability to work within the framework of NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations
Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful experience in strength and conditioning preferably at the NCAA Division I or professional level
Master's degree in Exercise science or related field.
Working knowledge of force plate application, and data analytics.
