JOB SUMMARY:

Join Andy Frain Services as a dynamic and motivated Assistant Director of Security. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in managing security contracts and ensuring a safe environment for employees, vendors, and guests. You will supervise all Supervisors and staff on assigned accounts, taking full responsibility for performance, service quality, and budget adherence. Your role will involve fostering strong relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services, while embodying the core values and operating principles of Andy Frain Services. Demonstrate your leadership skills and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Assist in managing security operations, ensuring service quality and compliance with established safety protocols.
  • Deliver outstanding service while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors.
  • Provide oversight and guidance at client sites; ensure adherence to security policies and complete daily reports and logs.
  • Develop security procedures that comply with facility policies and applicable laws; respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Inspect and maintain life safety systems and security equipment to guarantee optimal operation.
  • Conduct training for Security Officers and Shift Leads to ensure thorough understanding of their roles.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding account performance and staff effectiveness.
  • Assist with payroll processing and personnel management duties.
  • Conduct regular inspections of security posts and ensure accurate record-keeping of staff attendance.
  • Engage with client representatives to confirm that security requirements are met and enhance customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Managing Director.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Willingness to undergo a background investigation.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years in loss prevention and life safety, with at least 1 year in a management role within the security industry.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to meet all state licensing requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification is a plus.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Thorough understanding of facility operations and security requirements.
  • Ability to create and implement effective training and safety programs.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Effective team management skills.
  • Knowledge of security devices and safety protocols.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in procedures or environments.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks related to payroll and reporting.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Position requires the ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain composure in stressful situations, and may involve physical demands such as lifting and moving. Must be able to work flexible hours, including potential overtime. Ability to work in different environmental conditions is necessary.
