RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assistant Director of Residences, in coordination with the Residential Leader, oversees residence operations, manages administrative tasks, coordinates move-ins, interior decorating, conducts owner orientations, handles daily operations, maintains records, supervises residence functions, maintains contact with unit owners, and responds to their needs. Availability for evenings, holidays, and weekends is required.

TASKS

  • Assist in people management, including hiring, training, payroll, scheduling, and performance feedback.
  • Assist with financial management, such as budgeting, billing, payments, and monitoring accounts.
  • Be the first contact for homeowners/tenants in the absence of the Residential Leader, ensuring high service levels.
  • Coordinate daily residence operations, oversee resident events, and assist with purchases.
  • Assist with owner orientations, ensuring policies are understood and signed, and act as liaison with hotel departments.
  • Maintain homeowner assets through inspections and oversee preventative maintenance.
  • Develop and implement profit improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise between the Residential Division and hotel departments to ensure service excellence.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead resident recognition efforts, maintain owner profiles, meet with hotel leadership on resident engagement, and produce monthly spend reports.
  • Handle resident interactions with professionalism, resolve complaints, and assist with inquiries and special requests.
  • Understand legal and governance responsibilities related to property management and resolve conflicts accordingly.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Fluent in English; local language skills are a plus.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality or residential management.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and business skills.
