Job Description :

The Wilner Group has partnered with our client, a medically supportive residence dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with special needs through compassionate care within a nurturing environment that promotes independence, growth, and inclusion. Together, we are searching for an Assistant Director of Residential Services to join their team in Paramus, NJ.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, oversee, and participate in resident Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), serving as a member of an interdisciplinary team (IDT) and ensuring that resident needs and preferences are properly addressed. Ensure plans are implemented, monitored, and revised as needed.
  • Assist in overseeing residential staff functions, including utilization, recruitment, orientation, supervision, training, and professional development.
  • Support home and apartment managers in resolving coverage and related staffing issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Special Education, or Psychology preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working with the developmental disabilities (DD) population in a managerial capacity.
  • Must be able to work 50 hour workweeks.

Compensation: $130K–$150K, based on experience.
