Seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (280 beds)

Location: Arverne, NY 11692

Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday, Full time

ADON Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports delivery of high-quality resident care.
• Creating a culture where highly engaged team members are able to contribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally.
• Assuring the best resident care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel
• Serving as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management
• Making decisions regarding nursing and unit problems
• Attending and supervising wound rounds weekly
• Participating in facility surveys
• Communicating effectively with staff, physicians, and resident s families

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid RN license in New York State
• 2+ years Long-term care experience required
• 3+ years Supervisory experience required
