Responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing and delivering nursing services, including planning, organization, supervision, and evaluation of all nursing activities in the center. Assists in ensuring compliance with regulations and maintains records related to resident care. Responsible for training nursing staff, managing the department within budget, and following all policies and procedures. Subject to on-call rotation. This is a working manager position, requiring time on the floor with residents and staff.

Required Education And Experience

• Current RN license with the state
• Good financial and management skills, adaptable to flexible schedules and occasional overnight travel
• Ability to relate positively with residents, families, and staff
• Interest and positive attitude towards working with long-term care residents and the elderly
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills, with an aptitude to learn company applications
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft products
• Subject to call schedule

Preferred Education And Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Post-acute care or healthcare experience preferred
