This pivotal role supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and enhancing staff performance. As an ADON, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care, mentoring nursing staff, and contributing to quality and safety initiatives in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.

This position is perfect for a Registered Nurse with experience as a charge nurse or preceptor, who is ready to step into a formal leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily unit operations and staffing needs.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for frontline nursing staff.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Drive staff engagement, enhance patient satisfaction, and work towards unit-based goals.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Active RN license in Maryland (or compact license).
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience as a charge nurse, preceptor, or in another leadership role is essential.
• Strong interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills are a must.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,588 - $190,340.
