Join our dynamic team as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in our Cardiovascular ICU and IMC. This pivotal role supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and enhancing staff performance. As an ADON, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care, mentoring nursing staff, and contributing to quality and safety initiatives in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.
This position is perfect for a Registered Nurse with experience as a charge nurse or preceptor, who is ready to step into a formal leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily unit operations and staffing needs.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for frontline nursing staff.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Drive staff engagement, enhance patient satisfaction, and work towards unit-based goals.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- Active RN license in Maryland (or compact license).
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience as a charge nurse, preceptor, or in another leadership role is essential.
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills are a must.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,588 - $190,340.
