NYBG Job Description Title. Reports to. Assistant Director of Major Gifts. Director of Major Gifts Position Summary:The Assistant Director of Major Gifts cultivates, stewards, and solicits a dynamic portfolio of 200 individual donors and prospects contributing four- and five-figure gifts annually, including but not limited to members of the Garden Patrons program and contributors to NYBG's fundraising events. They are an enterprising frontline fundraiser and an enthusiastic advocate for NYBG's work and mission. Partnership is vital to this position's success. As such, the Assistant Director is expected to be a collaborative and strategic member of the Institutional Advancement department and the Individual Giving team.
