Assistant Director of MaintenanceRochester Center is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Director of Maintenance to work for our Skilled Nursing Facility located in Rochester, NY.Previous Maintenance experience necessary, Nursing Homesetting preferred!DUTIES:Assist the Director with the management of Department operations & personnelOversees regular inspections of the facility & equipment for safety, upkeep, appearanceSupervise and assign maintenance staff responsibilities and schedulesSchedule & ensure completion of all maintenance & repairsProvide oversight of contracted maintenance/repairs to ensure timely completion of servicesMaintain records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, and inspectionsCoordinating department operations, budgets, and monitoring expendituresEnsure all work is done in accordance with State/Federal & OSHA standardsREQUIREMENTS:Should have a working knowledge of NYS Dept of Health Regulations, OSHA, MSDS, CDC, boilers, compressors, generators as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systemsMin. high school diploma or equivalentStrong work ethic, intense drive, initiative for quality serviceSolid computer skills; working knowledge of MS OfficeExtensiveexperience inHVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry & general maintenanceSupervisory experience in maintenance preferably in LTC settingsAbility to multi-task / stay on task & maintain focus in stressful situationsEvidence of basic leadership skills and supervisionAbout us:Rochester Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 124-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility that is a top choice for post-acute care in Monroe County, New York.
