Assistant Director of Fall Play - LKM

Position: Assistant Technical Director or AV Director

The Assistant Technical Director will provide technical direction to students on decisions and execution of specific projects. They will primarily work with the sound, lighting, and visual production processes.

Typical Daily Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the audio and visual production process
  • Designing, setting up, and operating sound and lighting equipment for projects
  • Providing technical support for productions and students
  • Working with the Director to oversee project completion and address all technical needs
  • Providing accurate equipment costs and setup time estimates
  • Collaborating with the design team to create mockups and technical drawings of scenes
  • Recommending and implementing new technologies to improve work for all employees and students
