Pamplin College of Business Graduate Programs is seeking an Assistant Director of Client Relationship Management (CRM) Systems to oversee the development and implementation of features, functions, and shared knowledge derived from and regarding Slate. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Advertising and working closely in collaboration with the Program Directors, Recruiters, and the Graduate School, the Assistant Director of CRM Systems performs maintenance, enhancements, and configurations necessary to ensure reliable business workflows in the Slate environment to support processes related to CRM functionality to recruit and support students at various stages of the enrollment funnel and the student life cycle. This includes, but is not limited to, RFI and information session events, admissions, applications submission, and document management. The ideal candidate has experience in database management, process automation, data integrity, database security, portal development and management, and event and form building. This position will serve as the primary contact and subject matter expert for Slate for the Pamplin Graduate Programs in the Greater Washington DC metro region, working collaboratively with both internal and external constituents across campus.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or technology, web technology, business, communications or a related field.
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems (CRM).
  • Relevant work experience in project management, providing technical and operational support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of cross-platform information management, through integrated and relational databases and vendor software.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to analyze and communicate data to a variety of constituencies.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment and make informed decisions in complex situations.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience managing the Slate CRM software in a higher education student admissions environment.
  • Knowledge of systems/technology integration, spreadsheets, database applications, Banner, programming/scripting, HTML, XML, SQL, and other web technologies.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the policies and procedures of higher education institutions related to admissions and student services as well working with students from diverse backgrounds, including non-traditional and online students.
  • Experience with digital marketing and communication channels - website, social media, video, etc.
