Assistant Director Of Community Services - City of Beaumont California : Job Details

Under the direction of the Community Services Director, this position plans, directs, and supervises all city recreation programs and services, and the maintenance, landscape, and development operations of city parks, public landscaped areas, and park facilities. Develops goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for the department and provides responsible staff assistance to the Community Services Director. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS The Assistant Director of Community Services is a management-level classification in the Community Services series. The employee supervises complex assignments, including work assigned to Division Managers, and is responsible for project development, setting priorities, developing timelines, evaluating work assigned to staff, and assuring quality and accuracy of the work product.
