Assistant Director - Texas Tech University : Job Details

Serves as the lead coordinator and administrator for the Presidential Lecture and Performance Series. This involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating all details surrounding each Presidential Lecture & Performance Series event; including but not limited to working with speakers bureaus/artist management companies; facilitating selection process of artists/performers/speakers for each performance; communicating with artists/management to facilitate all facets of performances/outreach activities/special events, workshops, etc. Develop cost agreement/information within budget; prepare contractual agreements with bureaus/agencies; secure approval of contract administration and work with venue management, operations, and external production companies to assure contractual technical requirements can be fulfilled prior to signing contracts.
