Assistant Director - University of the Pacific : Job Details

Under general direction conducts applied business and social science research and analysis to support the Executive Director of the Center for Business and Policy Research. Essential Functions Oversees implementation and management of applied research projects across multiple sectors, including economic development, labor markets, land use, and public policy. Coordinates project tasks, deliverables, timelines, and staff assignments. Engages with regional partners and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and impact. Supervises research staff, graduate interns, and undergraduate interns, including mentoring, quality control, and professional development. Leads and contributes to the production of written deliverables such as reports, policy briefs, presentations, and grant proposals.
