The organization empowers communities through education, human services, and the development of individual skills and community leadership.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Community School Director Position located in Bronx, NY. The Assistant Director will oversee daily operations, coordinate programs and services, manage staff, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities include budgeting, grant management, community outreach, proposal writing, and fostering relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, program management, and staff supervision skills
  • Experience in budgeting, grant management, and proposal writing
  • Excellent communication, community outreach, and relationship-building abilities
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
  • Knowledge of the non-profit sector and experience working with diverse communities
  • Ability to work on-site in Bronx, NY
