Overview
EY is seeking an Assistant Director within its Client Assurance team in Information Security. This position involves supporting client requests related to information security and data protection, responding to assessments and audits, and engaging with regulators. The role is based in the United States and requires excellent English communication skills. It is not a technical hands-on role but focuses on governance, compliance, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to external security assessments, audits, and risk evaluations.
- Supporting development and maintenance of the Client Security Assurance function.
- Assisting with client and team inquiries regarding EY's Information Security Program.
- Reviewing security requirements in contractual agreements and participating in negotiations.
- Identifying process improvements for client assurance and assessing their business impact.
- Working independently with minimal supervision; minimal travel required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with security assessments, audits, and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of standards like ISO 27001/27002, NIST, ITIL, COBIT.
- Understanding of global data privacy and regulatory concerns.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and enterprise federation services.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CISM, or CISA.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.

Compensation and Benefits
