Assistant Director for Recreation and Wellness - Manhattan College : Job Details

Reporting to the Director of Student Engagement, the Assistant Director for Recreation and Wellness oversees a number of areas within Student Life. The Assistant Director is responsible for the Fitness Center, Intramurals, Club Sports, Spirit Squads and all Recreation and Wellness Programming. Managing a staff of work study positions, which includes the hiring and training of staff for all areas, the Assistant Director ensures that Manhattan University has a vibrant social scene based upon physical well-being. This is an in-person on-campus non-remote position. Responsibilities: Lead the design, scheduling and execution of a dynamic intramurals program, in which multiple sports leagues are held throughout the year, at the same time. Manage all aspects of club sports at Manhattan University, which currently includes men's and women's rowing, tennis, ultimate frisbee, flag football, club soccer and club basketball.
