The primary location for this position is the main campus in Cullowhee, NC. Reporting Structure. The Assistant Director for Operations (Days) reports to the Senior Assistant Director for Operations and provides support for day-to-day operations and events held in Campus Activity-operated spaces during weekday daytime hours. During normal shift hours, this position serves as the professional staff for all events designated by the Event Management policies and procedures. The Assistant Director will coordinate with campus partners, third-party contractors, and vendors to ensure the success of these events. Student Staff Management. The Assistant Director for Operations will recruit, train, and supervise a staff of 15 30 student workers. Responsibilities include scheduling the student workers for building and event management and customer service, as well as evaluating and providing ongoing feedback on their job performance.
