Department: Athletics Salary: $49,400-$56,200

Description

Assists in the development, designing, and execution of creative solutions that communicate the University of Houston's Athletic Department's brand identity, messaging, and positioning through print and digital design projects.

• Create and execute design concepts; develop artwork for flyers, brochures, invitations, print ads, social media, and identity programs to enhance brand image.
• Design and implement newsletters and email templates.
• Adhere to university and athletic department graphic and branding standards.
• Consult with stakeholders to evaluate project needs, prepare cost and time estimates, and review printed materials for quality control.
• Collaborate with writers, marketing teams, photographers, and other designers on marketing and communication projects.
• Assist with photographic shoots to meet project goals.
• Compile and analyze vendor quotes for budgeting and scheduling.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requires analytical skills and the ability to interpret procedures, policies, and practices, attainable through specific education or training programs in a technical or specialty field. An Associate's degree or certification/licensing in a relevant technical specialty, lasting over 18 months and up to 3 years, is required.
