Assistant Director Financial Aid Compliance - Texas Tech University : Job Details

Assist in training new staff and work-study students. Mentor staff towards long term professional development goals. Develops and delivers comprehensive training program including financial aid fundamentals, college policy and regulatory changes and provide assessment to ensure mastery of required knowledge and skills of existing and new staff. Manages all compliance activities including the development, documentation, updating, and validation of all procedures and policies. Develops, implements and maintains quality assurance mechanisms to determine adherence to state and federal aid regulations. Participate in professional development, trainings, and conferences. Perform monthly Pell and Direct Loan reconciliation, and G 5 reporting. Conducts and directs internal financial aid audits and file review using discretion and independent judgement to ensure compliance with the Title IV Program, Federal, and state regulations and create corrective plans and training based on findings.
