Salary Ranges from $70,000.00 - $74,000.00 annually depending on Experience and Qualifications.Position Summary:Ensure that all Springbrook facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and comfortable manner by planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of all physical plant services in accordance with Agency policies and procedures, current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our Agency. Physical plant services include maintenance, grounds keeping, janitorial, Fleet and safety/security.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:In the absence of the department director, assist with hands-on supervision and scheduling of all maintenance, grounds-keeping, janitorial, and safety/security staff.Perform routine facility/building/grounds inspections at all Springbrook properties.Generates estimates of labor, time, costs, and materials for the completion of assignments.May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned by dept. Director.Maintain the project priority list in conjunction with all program areas and schedule in-house staff and/or outside contractors as appropriate for their completion within budget with quality and on schedule.Must have extensive knowledge with current building practices, including but not limited to, commercial building, residential building, electrical, plumbing and HVAC.Maintains documentation of completed projects.Provides reasonable care and maintenance and assumes accountability for assigned, issued and/or checked-out tools, equipment and/or vehicles.Performs all activities in accordance with the latest job safety practices.Participate in the development, and implement, of the annual Capital Expenditure Budget for items including, equipment purchases and physical plant renovations and in-house construction projects.Schedule and maintain vendor relations with outside contractors to provide supports and services when in-house capabilities do not exist or are not available.Be available for to provide on and off-hour emergency response procedures for repairing equipment, stabilizing damage, and calling in support personnel as needed.Comply with all State and Federal regulations.Inventory Control.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree in appropriate related field is preferred.Minimum of five years of related career experience and/or health care facility experience.Good verbal and written interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.Auto-Cad experience preferredWorking knowledge in the operation and maintenance of physical plant services as well as knowledge of building codes, Life Safety Code and safety regulations.Ability to lift up to 70 pounds in a safe manner.Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.Springbrook is an equal opportunity employer.
