JOB SUMMARY Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the custodial operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. This is a working supervisor position and expected to carry out custodial duties as well as lead functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Effectively recruit, hire, develop, supervise, schedule and evaluate personnel
- Prepare supply inventory accounts. Order supplies in absence of Project Manager.
- Inform appropriate personnel of irregularities and possible problems at contract site in a timely manner.
- Complete required personnel and administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
- Complete custodial work in a safe and efficient manner according to OSHA/agency safety policy and procedures.
- Maintain current Safety Data Sheets.
- Complete building inspections periodically, and address any performance issues with custodial staff.
- Empower employees to maximize their employment potential by increasing productivity through accommodations.
- Assist Project Manager in providing information for initial evaluations, quarterly check-ins, and annual reviews to help support employee's personal and professional growth.
- Assist Project Manager in providing ongoing accommodations to AbilityOne employees based on functional limitations.

- Drive the Goodwill vehicles to and from designated locations in a timely fashion.
- Ensure Goodwill vehicles are kept clean and safe at all times.

- Comply with all Department of Transportation guidelines and Goodwill policies & procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - High school diploma/GED required
- 1-2 years custodial experience in a lead role or supervisory capacity preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS - First Aid/CPR Certification
- Must maintain valid driver's license and be insurable
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office-Excel, Outlook, and Word and the Internet
- Must have excellent organization and communication skills
- Must have a thorough knowledge of proper custodial procedures
- Must be able to operate and instruct in use of cleaning equipment
- Maintain a good driving record that meets our Insurance Company's Guidelines
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Medium Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT Limited General office environment infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.)
