MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAssistant County Attorney:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License or evidence of mobility
• License to practice law in Minnesota

Senior Assistant County Attorney:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• At least five years of experience as an Assistant County Attorney or equivalent
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License or evidence of mobility
• License to practice law in Minnesota

SCORED EXAMINATION PROCESS

Applications will be screened, scored, and ranked. Top candidates will be invited for oral examinations, with final selection based on interviews, references, and background checks, including CJIS fingerprinting.
