Assistant Controller - JURGENSEN COMPANIES : Job Details

Assistant Controller Responsibilities:

• Assist the Corporate Controller in directing the organization's accounting functions and corporate financial reporting.
• Serves as plant controller for a business unit, including general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensures that accounting policies and procedures are documented and followed by the organization.
• Responsible for developing staff.
• Prepares schedules and works directly with external auditors.

Assistant Controller Requirements:

• Integrating and implementing accounting / financial tech solutions Bachelor's degree.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• 3 years public accounting audit experience.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
