USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub appThe Assistant Coach position with our overnight camp will assist the head coach with a group of 15+ campers directing them on daily training sessions, small and large sided matches, helping them maneuver campus, and creating a culture of positivity within our 5-day camp environment. They will work with the Head Coach within their group to help facilitate information to their campers as well. This person is key to camp success and allows for delegation from the camp director.Duties/Responsibilities
  • On-Field Coaching: assisting with organizing and running training sessions specific to skill level and age, creating a positive atmosphere around soccer within their group, providing information and encouragement of ways to improve (50%)
  • Chaperone: walking kids to and from dorm to dining hall, fields, taking attendance, making sure along with Head Coach that the entire group is in the appropriate place at the appropriate time (35%)
  • Field manager: assisting head coach by organizing on field activities, substitutions, setup of events (15%)
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
  • Multiple years of on-field coaching experience
