Assistant Child Teacher - Central Connecticut Coast YMCA - Valley YMCA : Job Details

The Y is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual for a School-Age Child Care (SACC) Assistant Teachers to join our team for morning and afternoon shifts to support the Ys mission through direct supervision and leadership of children in a school-age child care program. Please note that this role does not required a five-day work week, offering flexibility to accommodate your schedule. The SACC Assistant Teacher will help foster the social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth of children, creating a safe and supportive environment. This role is integral to the development of the childrens self-concept, independence, and individuality in line with Ys mission. Must be 16 years or older (under 18 requires working papers). Experience working with children preferred. Documentation of physical exam and TB Tine Test required (every two years).
