TGAS is searching for an Assistant Bookkeeper (AB) to work under the supervision of the Finance Manager (FM), assisting in the maintenance of accurate financial records, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. The AB must be experienced with finance management software such as QuickBooks and Ajera by Deltek, and have working knowledge of basic accounting principles with the aptitude to quickly learn new software. The AB may also be responsible for tasks like data entry and supporting accounts payable and receivable.

Education Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- An associate or bachelors degree in accounting or a related field (Preferred)
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal (soft) skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Fluent in MS Office and other standard office software
Key Role/Responsibility
- Maintaining Financial Records: This includes updating general ledgers, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate data entry
- Processing Invoices and Receipts: Preparing and processing invoices, reconciling bank and credit card statements, and managing receipts
- Data Entry and Financial Reporting: Performing data entry tasks, assisting with the preparation of financial reports, and reconciling accounts
- Supporting Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable, as well as tracking expenses
- Organizing and Maintaining Financial Records: Keeping financial files organized and up to date
- Provide Weekly Reports: Providing Analysis of cash flow status
- Ensuring Compliance: Adhering to relevant accounting standards and regulations
