Job Title: Assistant Billing Coordinator

Summary: The Assistant Billing Coordinator will provide ongoing support to the Billing Coordinator by providing assistance with a variety of clerical related duties. He or she is responsible for billing data entry, creating invoices, billing follow-up, updating budgetary information, invoice submission, recording and processing payments received, and other duties related to the submission and processing of firm billing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Enter billing data into billing software;

Generate invoices/statements using billing software;

Transmit invoices/statements to clients via email/mail/fax as dictated by client requirements;

Send reminders to clients regarding unpaid bills;

Create billing data files for upload to web based legal bill review services;

Upload billing data files to web based legal bill review services;

Manage firm data and rates on web based legal bill review services;

Document firm billing files using NetDocuments document management system;

Correspond via phone and email with clients and other firm personnel.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job is in an in-person office setting; remote work is not available for this role.

Work Hours:

This is a full-time job with a 40-hour work week, 8 hours daily Monday – Friday within firm operating hours. You will be required to take an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes.
