Salary: $28 - $36 /per hour

Assistant Behavior Analyst– Masters Clinical Level assists service recipients in attaining the goals of the individual care plan and sustaining positive behavioral changes, along with improvements in functionality and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports all outcomes for service recipients, including Identity, Autonomy, Affiliation, Attainment, Safeguards, Rights, and Health & Wellness.
  • For Masters/Clinical level: Conducts assessments such as Individual Care Plans, Intensive In-Home evaluations, Biopsychosocial Needs Assessment, and others using appropriate tools; provides interventions including:
    • Implementation of individualized service plans
    • Individual, family, and group counseling
    • Instruction in adaptive frustration tolerance and anger management
    • Stress reduction techniques
    • Problem-solving skills development
    • Psycho-educational services for decision-making and behavior management
    • Positive Behavioral Supports
    • Social skills development
    • Trauma-informed counseling
    • Implementation of Behavioral Support strategies
    • Coordination with agency staff and participation in the clinical team
    • Collaboration with other professionals supporting the youth
    • Referral recommendations for evaluations
  • Interventions requiring specific licensure or credentials must be provided by qualified personnel.
  • Address complex needs and challenging behaviors safely, including noncompliance, tantrums, elopement, property destruction, aggression, self-injury, and inappropriate sexual behaviors.
  • Apply flexible clinical modalities as per client needs, including play, art, and music techniques when indicated.
  • Respond to the needs of service recipients, families, staff, and management.
  • Document all activities in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Transport service recipients as needed and indicated.
  • Complete mandated supervision and training requirements.
  • Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.
  • Advocate for service recipients.
  • Follow all agency policies and perform duties aligned with the agency's mission and values.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
  • Compliance with all federal, state, and local licensing and certification requirements.
  • At least one year of clinical experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Age 21 or older with no history of abuse, neglect, or exploitation; documented experience with children, especially with behavioral, emotional, or learning issues.
  • Reliable transportation preferred, including valid driver's license, insurance, and vehicle registration, to facilitate transportation of service recipients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, follow instructions, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
